¡école! was born from a common love for the nature of southern
Chile by a group of Chileans ans North Americans. We purchased this
hostal to create a place full of energy, keeping it inexpensive, yet
with excellent food and ambience. It has been six years since we have
realized our dream and ¡école!'s commitment to quality, service
and the environment in the Araucania Region continues to grow.
But
¡école! is more than this: our true passion is the ecology
of southern Chile through our support of the Lahuen
Foundation and our contact with other groups like Codeff,
Defensores del Bosque, the Pumalin Park and Ancient Forest International

protection of this marvelous land. We try to work with local people
whenever possible to help improve the quality and promote local tourism
and benefit the Pucón community. The home-like atmosphere of our Hostería
¡école! is full of warmth and energy: backpackers and travellers
from all around the world meet in this this fun and dynamic place
to share experiences, travel tips and stories. We help you organise
excursions and outdoor activities, with
the best guides and companies in town, as well as offering our own
spetial and always changing wilderness outings. Our
Vegetarian Restaurant offers the perfect complement to this swirl
of activities, providing delicious, healthy, energetic and wholesome
dishes, at very convienient prices. You can even combine the fun adventure
with learning or practicing your spanish at our Spanish School ,
inmersing yourself in the chilean culture, while doing all
the fun activities that Pucón, Mecca of the Outdoors of Southern Chile
