¡école! ´s Spanish School: At Our Spanish School, our main concern is to get you to be able to have a conversation in spanish and be able to communicate what you want. Since we get students of different backgrounds, different levels of spanish and with different availability of time to spend here our programs and courses have been designed in a very flexible way. You design your own schedule, from a couple of hours just to start your trip with a sessions of remembering what you already know and getting used to the chilean accent, to our two all inclusive programs of a week and four weeks. We work in a classroom, using a base studying text, which also has tapes and other helping material such as magazines, newspapers, books, remembering cards, songs. We also have outdoor activities, going to different places in town such as Crafts Market, the local Monastery, the beach, a walk to the Delta, Library (to know and comment about Latin literature), etc. Each class includes a time to study the basic grammar, like verbs and their tenses, adjectives, adverbs and their relationship with nouns, pronouns, prepositions, possessive adjectives, etc. Vocabulary for different topics is also included on a daily basis, like traveling, transports, the forest, nature, recreational activities, materials used on crafts, etc. We have not included tests or exams, because the study rhythm is marked by the student, according to interest and diligence.

Our five day Instruction Program: Duration of the course: 5 days (if you feel you need a couple more days, we can arrange it at a spetial price for hours) Schedule: 3 hours a day (can be split in half in the morning, half in the afternoon). Includes: Just the spanish instruction. Our all inclusive programs: Include: Spanish instruction, room and half board in Hostería Ecole, and activities of your choice, like the Volcano Climb, Rafting, Hotsprings, Horseback riding and other interesting activities.

4 Week Spanish Immersion Package- A 4 week course of study in which we organize a one-week homestay* during the 3rd week, to get intensive practice. Student returns to the Hosteria to Study the 4th week to review questions from the homestay, refine their grasp of the language and break any bad habits. (* ask about alternatives to the homestay) It includes communicative contents, grammar contents, orthography and pronunciation, lexicon, literature and Chilean culture. Duration of the course: 4 Weeks. Schedule: 3 hours a day ( can be split - half in the morning, half in the afternoon), 6 days a week. 6 day program This course has been designed for foreigners who want to learn Spanish in Chile in a intensive but short period of time. It includes (6) Study Units. We work mainly in learning the use of words and expressions that the tourist may need while traveling in South America. Duration of the course: 6 Days - total of 18 hours. Schedule: 3 hours a day (can be split - half in the morning, half in the afternoon).
